Skincare and makeup for skin that's lived a little
Slate & Skin is a small skincare and makeup shop for people who are tired of being told to "fight" ageing. Our products are made for skin showing signs of ageing: skin that's drier, thinner, more reactive, and deserving of formulas that treat it that way.
What we sell
A focused range rather than hundreds of products: peptide and collagen serums and creams, a gentle retinol alternative, vitamin C, hydration, eye care, and a small makeup edit of foundations, lipsticks and mascara. Every product page lists the full ingredients, how it feels, what to realistically expect, and who it suits, so you can decide before you buy.
How we choose
- We only list products we'd be comfortable explaining in plain language.
- We say what a product does and doesn't do. Skincare takes weeks, and we'd rather tell you that than promise overnight change.
- We show full ingredient lists on every page, so you can check them against your own sensitivities.
Our standards
Every Slate & Skin product is formulated without:
- Parabens
- Phthalates
- SLS sulfates
- Silicones and siloxanes
- Synthetic dyes
- Formaldehyde and BHA
Our products are cruelty free. Where a product page shows an organic claim, that claim is certified by Ecocert. Some formulas, such as Lucent, Citrine and Noir, are also vegan; others contain ingredients such as beeswax, so check the ingredient list on each product page.
